Is there an OpenBoot PROM cheat sheet or reference sheet?
A: Ask and you shall receive. Use this handy-dandy OpenBoot PROM or OBP Reference Guide courtesy of Sun Microsystems as a refresher. I didn’t write it, but it’s about as thorough and useful as it would be if I did.
Remember, you can do some serious damage to your configuration if you don’t know what you’re doing, so the standard disclaimer applies.
NOTE: OBP 3.x is available on most UltraSPARC II-based systems (i.e. Ultra 30, Ultra 60, E250, E420R, E4500, E6500, etc) If in doubt as to what OBP your machine is running, check the banner upon bootup.
